All my life I have been considered skinny. There was a time when my parents were genuinely concerned about weight that they physically tried everything they could to help me gain weight. From encouraging me to eat a lot more to even increasing my allowance while in university. Nothing worked! It doesn’t help that after university I got into eating healthy, joined the gym, and just downright chose my meal very well. I was almost obsessed with keeping in shape.

Then in 2012 I conceived my daughter and everything changed! All those cravings I had during pregnancy just grew into my eating habits. The takeouts, the slap chips, you name them; I was eating them all.

Though the baby weight eventually fell off, in the midst of all these eating habits I ended up picking weight. It wasn’t a considerable amount so it didn’t bother me at all (only about 4 kg). To be honest, i’ve never let my weight bother me. I’ve always been very comfortable in my skin. Even when my parents were making a big deal about the weight, I wasn’t bothered at all. I loved the attention and the fluffing around me but beyond that, nothing!

I always just convinced myself that one day I will go back to my clean eating habits. That I will be able to go to a restaurant and order clean food comfortably. But that never happened. In fact things got really bad that I started making my family eat slap chips almost twice a week without even a flinch. It had to stop, and it had to stop fast.

I needed some help to reset my ways. To help me wipe the slate clean and change my bad eating habits and that’s when I found a thing called *Juice Cleansing*.   • Decide how you want to do the cleanse – will you go cold turkey (juice only) or just juice in the morning or lunch or dinner
  • Make sure you decide on the cleanse for all the right reasons – it’ll make it much easier to keep at it.
